Tee-Off At Last For Pink Car Leasing Sponsored Golf Classic
The British Par 3 Championship is back, after an enforced COVID hiatus, to bring classic golf and a unique event back to the sporting calendar, and Pink Car Leasing are proud to play a major part in hosting this much-anticipated golfing spectacular.
Starting on 3rd August 2021, the 88th
British Par 3 Championships will once again run over four days at the Nailcote Hall in Coventry. This will be the sixth year that Pink Car Leasing have been a major partner of the tournament, and with bigger names being added to the event every year, this year’s is sure to be the most thrilling yet.
Par 3 is a scaled down version of golf played over nine holes, and originally created to help with coaching and training, typically focussing on key techniques and tactics. Started in 1933 at Torquay’s Palace Hotel, the event has developed into a major feature of the sporting calendar, adopted by pros and celebrities as a relaxed but highly competitive tournament.
Touring Pros and the Best Amateur Celebrities
The Farmfoods British Par 3 Championships now attracts legends of the sport – such as Ian Woosnam, Sam Torrance and Paul Lawrie - and the best amateur celebrities – such as Sir Alex Ferguson, Nigel Mansell and Len Goodman - to take part in Pro-Am and Celeb-Am tournaments.
National TV exposure on Sky Sports’ Golf channel naturally brings a competitive element to proceedings, and that proved the case in 2019, when Premier League boss David Moyes won the Celeb-Am tournament and Jarmo Sandelin took home €50,000 in the Pro-Am.

Our involvement in the Farmfoods Par 3 British Championship continues our close links with the pro-am golfing circuit. We are also a partner of the Legends Tour and the European Farm Foods Masters, through which we have built ambassadorial links with pro-am and celeb-am competitors such as Russell Christie, Peter Baker, Steve Walsh, Muzzy Izzit, Gerry Taggert, Matt Elliott and Matthew Hoggard.
After a difficult 18 months for everyone, and an enforced year off for the British Par 3 Championship in 2020, we were delighted to continue our commitment and support behind the 2021 tournament, which everyone in the sport is looking forward to with added relish and anticipation. We are sure the next four days will serve up some fantastic golf, lots of personality and some healthy competitive spirit.
The British Par 3 Championships creates a great platform for some of the legends of the sport to showcase their skills and Pink Car Leasing take great pleasure in forging these links and continuing our long association.
